The Development Team of professionals can assist you in achieving your philanthropic goals, matching your passion and vision with the University’s priorities. There are many benefits of philanthropy—from the intrinsic reward of helping others to its tangible tax advantages to the simple fact that giving feels good. With each gift you make, you shape the future for Plymouth State and our society.
Areas to Support
At the core—the heart—of each cluster is the critical need for Open Laboratories: transformational spaces for students and faculty to engage with businesses and communities and apply their classroom experiences to solve challenging problems. For the Health and Human Enrichment (HHE) cluster, the Open Lab is the AllWell Complex on the Holderness Campus.
Annual scholarships are an opportunity for you to give a gift each year that provides critical financial resources for Plymouth State students. Annually funded scholarships have an immediate impact, as they are disbursed to the student recipient in the fiscal year they are received.
Each year, alumni and friends make critical annual contributions to The Fund for Plymouth State. Annual giving is of central importance to the University’s mission, as these gifts support core programs and initiatives, such as financial aid, academic programs, athletics, faculty and staff development, and more.
Endowments are critical to the mission of Plymouth State. Through endowed chairs, professorships, and scholarships you are able to make a permanent gift that benefits a program of your choice.
Planned Gifts/Holmes Heritage Society
The most important aspects of planning your financial future are your needs, and the needs of the people you care about. You can meet those needs while building an enduring legacy for Plymouth State. The Heritage Society honors alumni and friends who have made provisions for Plymouth State in their financial and estate plans.
Museum of the White Mountains
The Museum of the White Mountains will preserve and promote the unique history, culture, and environmental legacy of the region; as well as provide unique collections-based, archival, and digital learning resources serving researchers, students, and the public.
Reunion and Class Giving
Your reunion. It’s a time to reminisce about your experience at Plymouth State. To reconnect with classmates, roommates, faculty, and friends. To reflect on how far you’ve come since you walked across the stage and received your degree.
