Community Engagement

The CBCP maintains our legacy of rural partnerships by continuing to serve as a “backbone” organization, supporting community partners by facilitating working relationships, providing technical assistance and education, conducting community-level applied research, and providing administrative support for fledgling projects. Past partners have included Bienvenue New Hampshire, North Country RC&D, The Ammonoosuc Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Colebrook’s district energy initiative, the Groveton Regional Economic Action Team, the Berlin City Planning Department, the Coös County Symposium, the Coös Economic Action Plan, Coös Goes South, and more.  These and other projects have had a lasting impact on tourism, the local food movement, local energy initiatives, social services, arts and culture, and educational programming.
