2016 NH Water & Watersheds Conference Agenda

Great_Bay_RainbowThe 2016 NH Water & Watershed Conference was held on March 18, 2016 at Plymouth State University. The conference theme was “Managing New Hampshire’s Water for a More Resilient Environment.” Our watersheds are regularly exposed to a variety of disturbances, both of natural and human causes. Some disturbances are happening more frequently and often are of larger magnitude. The 2016 Conference focused on the concept of resiliency — or the ability of our natural watersheds and water systems, and built infrastructure, to respond to and recover from disturbances — by looking at how it relates to water supply and demand, floods and flood hazards, watershed management and planning, the value of water, how NH communities are adapting, and the relationship between water and tourism in New Hampshire.
