Minor in Computing

The minor in Computing allows students to choose an area of concentration in Computer Science, such as programming or networks. Students intending to take the minor in Computing should consult with a Computer Science faculty advisor to determine which courses best suit their needs.

CS 2370 Introduction to Programming 4
CS 2381 Data Structures and Intermediate Programming 4
Complete two of the following: 6-8
CS 3020 Web Programming
CS 3221 Algorithm Analysis
CS 3240 Data Communication and Computer Networks
CS 3600 Database Management Systems
CS 3720 Systems Analysis and Design
CS 3820 Human-Computer Interaction
Several upper-level courses have prerequisites that are not covered by the required courses. Students must select courses carefully.
