A degree in Early Childhood Studies prepares students to be effective educators of young children, in collaboration with their families, in a variety of early childhood settings. These settings could include public school primary grade classrooms, preschool programs, child care, infant and toddler programs, Head Start and Early Head Start, early childhood special education programs, early intervention programs, after-school programs, and family support and home visiting programs.
