Human Performance Laboratory
The Human Performance Laboratory provides cutting-edge resources, facilities and equipment for student and faculty researchers in the Health and Human Performance Department. The laboratory allows students to gain practical skills and experience in a variety of lab techniques and tests.
Our equipment includes:
- Computerized oxygen uptake instrumentation
- Motorized treadmill
- Cycle ergometers
- 12-lead electrocardiograph
- Strength assessment unit
- Motion Monitor System
Human Movement Laboratory
The Human Movement and Active Living Laboratory serves as a working laboratory for students and faculty engaged in educational and research activities.

Many of the programs in the Department of Health and Human Performance have a close relationship with PSU Athletics, and the campus arenas and playing fields provide opportunities for our students to get hands-on experience in their areas of study.
