The Enterprise Technology and Services (ET&S) team employs over 60 exceptional student technologists who undergo focused training, professional development and team building on an annual basis. Our student team members gain real hands-on experience working in the fields of Technology Support, Web Development, Network Administration, Computer Hardware Repair and Academic Technology. Many of our students stay with us for their entire four years and graduate not only with an outstanding degree from Plymouth State University, but with valuable job experience they can list on their resumes!

Note that ET&S student staff begin their Mandatory Training a week to 10 days before the start of the Fall academic term and will need to be prepared to move to campus early.

Enterprise Technology Helpdesk
The Enterprise Technology Help Desk is looking to hire students to work at the Help Desk located in the Lamson Learning Commons. The Help Desk provides technology troubleshooting, campus information, and directory information to the entire Plymouth State community. We also run the Information Desk where we provide library services year-round. We are looking for students who enjoy working with the public, enjoy working with technology, and who have prior work experience in a customer service environment. We hire students of all majors for both work study and non-work study positions. Students who work for the Help Desk gain valuable real-world experience in both customer service and technological skills. Learning Collaboration and Space Technology
Learning Collaboration and Space Team supports over 180 mediated classrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces on campus year-round. We employ friendly and outgoing technicians with the willingness to learn valuable customer service and technology skills with on-the-job training in a positive, dynamic, and challenging work environment. Student Technologists will work closely with the Academic Technology Team to support the use of current technologies and new technology initiatives on campus. This position will offer support for academic technology projects by writing help documentation and blog posts, creating infographics and brochures; producing screencasts and live videos, and by offering workshops and drop-in hours for multiple applications. Student technologists are expected to take initiative, to communicate effectively, and to have experience or interest in customer service, writing, web design, graphic design, and video production. Computer Repair Center
The Computer Repair Center is looking for employees who have excellent customer service skills and are self-motivated. Additionally, student applicants should have a basic knowledge of computer operation and terminology and basic hardware. There are typically two positions in this department and we welcome enthusiastic students with these skills to apply.
