Mathematics Undergraduate Fellowship

In the spring semester, a student is awarded the Mathematics Undergraduate Fellowship. The undergraduate fellow earns a $1,500 tuition credit per semester in exchange for the duties required under the fellowship.

Current fellowship responsibilities include serving 10 hours per week as a tutor in the Math Activity Center, assisting students in math courses such as the Calculus sequence, linear Algebra, our proofs course, and differential equations.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

  •  Be a math major
  •  Be sophomore, junior or senior status
  •  Be a full-time student
  •  Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Have successfully completed Calculus I and II

How to Apply:

Early in the spring semester, math majors will be invited to apply via email and flyers that will be posted on the third floor of Hyde Hall. Instructions and applications will be provided at that time.
