Janette Wiggett is the student affairs representative to the president’s cabinet and serves as the University’s Title IX Coordinator and 504 Coordinator. Janette provides leadership for New Student Programs, Student Involvement, Recreation and Club Sports, and Campus Accessibility Services. Janette serves as a member of the student affairs leadership team to provide vision and direction to enhance programming and services that increase student engagement and retention.
With over seventeen years of experience in higher education and student affairs, Janette has served in a variety of roles in the areas of residential life, housing, student conduct, student behavioral intervention, and Title IX administration. Prior to joining PSU in 2006, Janette worked at St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN and Keene State College, Keene, NH.
An alumna of Plymouth State College, Janette earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Humanities. “As a first generation college student, Plymouth State provided me with an experience that changed the trajectory of my life. Our transformation to the integrated clusters model ensures PSU will continue to do that for students by providing learning and leadership experiences that are relevant to addressing the challenges that exist in the world around them.”
Janette earned a Master of Science degree in Social Responsibility from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota and a Master of Science degree in Project Management from Granite State College of the University System of New Hampshire.
Janette lives locally in Plymouth with her family. For self-care and wellness, she is a certified dance fitness instructor, proudly serving members of the local community as a contributor to Main St. business.
