Donate During Move Out

Support students and the community by donating non-perishable food items, toiletries, clothing, and small appliances to Plymouth State’s Student Support Foundation (SSF). Donated items will be distributed to local community agencies and specific donated items will be used in a Fall fundraiser for SSF’s emergency grants and food pantry benefiting PSU students.

How to Donate On Campus

Donation bins are placed in campus residence halls during move out. Please place approved items you wish to donate into the designated donation bins. Items must be in good, clean condition for future use. Donated items will be collected throughout the week. A list of approved items to donate is below.

How to Donate Off Campus

The XXX residence hall is a designated drop-off area for off-campus students to donate small appliances and furniture to benefit PSU students. Items must be in good, clean condition for future use. Volunteers will be available at the times below to check donated items from the approved list of items. 

Drop Off Times for Off Campus Donations

  • Tuesday, May 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 17, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Friday, May 18, 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

Items to Donate

  • Small Household Items (Lamps, toasters, coffee makers, fans, etc.)
  • Small Household Appliances (mini-fridge, microwave, etc.)
  • Clothing (Gently Used, Free of Rips/Stains)
  • Food (Unopened/Non-perishable)
  • Shampoo/Body Wash (Unopened/little used)
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Tissues or Toilet Paper

*Please note PSU will return any broken or unusable items.
