The Future of Foreign Direct Investment in New Hampshire

What it is. Why it matters. And how to attract it to your area.

Plymouth State University and the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs presented a unique forum for business development executives on foreign direct investment (FDI) on October 11, 2019.

This robust half-day program introduced economic development professionals and government agents to the nature and benefits of FDI, providing useful insights and tools for attracting foreign businesses to their areas. Investors who seek to increase deal flow and opportunities with foreign business partners also gained valuable information.

Keynote speaker New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs Commissioner Taylor Caswell, Plymouth State University researchers, and expert panelists explored ways to identify FDI and practical solutions for attracting FDI to your area.

Attendees also received an exclusive preview of MaiaGrowth©—a new FDI planning tool under development by Plymouth State University researchers.
