Q: Could you briefly introduce yourself, where you’re from, what year of college you’re in, and what you’re studying at PSU?
A: My name is Linus Lindeberg and I am from Stockholm, Sweden. I’m a senior majoring in finance, with a minor in economics and I’m also studying for a certification in professional sales.
Q: What extracurriculars do you participate in here at PSU?
A: I am a goalkeeper and a captain of the Men’s Soccer Team, I’m also a junior analyst in the investment club and I’ve won intramural floor hockey three years in a row.
Q: How and when did you first hear about Plymouth State?
A: I heard about Plymouth through my brother. He graduated in 2017.
Q: What made you decide to come to PSU?
A: I visited my brother a couple of times and enjoyed everything Plymouth had to offer. After being here a couple of times, I thought Plymouth would be a great fit for me.
Q: What has been your favorite part about life at PSU?
A: Meeting people from all over the world and creating new friendships. Also, playing soccer has been one of my favorite things too.
Q: What has been most difficult about attending college in the United States?
A: In the beginning it was obviously a little difficult speaking English, since Swedish is my first language. However, professors were very helpful and understood that there could potentially be some language barriers.
Q:If you were giving a speech to a group of graduating high school seniors back home in Sweden, what would you tell them about your time at PSU?
A: I would tell them about all the friends I made and all the different experiences that I never would’ve had if I didn’t go to college in the United States. The best experience so far, was when we beat Keene in overtime my freshman year. It will be something I never forget.
